“After working all year on the solar car as a fr “After working all year on the solar car as a freshman, I learned lots of important skills not only in the shop from upperclassmen, but sportsmanship, and leadership that comes with being on the team. As a freshman I had lots of clubs to choose from, some of which were very interesting. One stood out to me, one that none of my friends joined. Instead of making little mouse trap cars and little wooden bridges, I was making a car, not only that but it was powered by the sun. Now I am on my third year on the team and exited to continue building and learning.” -Teddie Blahous [11]
